Sarah’s Bridal Portraits

Gosh, you guys . . . there is SO much blogging to be done, it’s just crazy! As you probably know, we are at the beginning of the slowing-down of wedding season and I think I might actually get to catch my breath pretty soon! ๐Ÿ™‚ There’s so, so much stuff I haven’t blogged, but my priority has always been to get my pictures to my clients quickly and with beautiful processing, so that’s been what I’ve been up to! Here’s a few pictures from one of my favorite brides’ bridal session. Sarah is beautiful outside and in – and we had a blast getting together for these! She got married a few weeks ago, so I can finally post them – yay!

Jason and Lindsey’s Wedding!

This one was SO.MUCH.FUN to shoot! ๐Ÿ™‚ We love us some Jason and Lindsey! The day held a couple of firsts for us:

– First time a bride sang a solo during the procession of the wedding party. Linds – you nailed it! You’re insanely talented and it was a joy to hear your angel voice!
– First game of duck-duck-goose at a reception. Pretty dang awesome.

What an wonderfully memorable day! Jason and Lindsey: thank you SO much for having us there to capture all the fun and craziness! ๐Ÿ™‚ We adore the two of you!

The flower girls were being SO cute on the ride over to the ceremony! And their moms were pretty sweet, too! ๐Ÿ™‚

Lindsey was simply radiant!

I loved that they took a moment to honor their parents during the ceremony.

I’m going to post a few more dancing pictures than I normally do because these people BROUGHT IT on the dance floor . . . pretty FUN stuff!

No, your eyes do not deceive you . . . that IS a nun . . .

Duck, duck . . .

GOOSE!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THIS!

Oh, I totally forgot: FIRST time the bride’s uncles were waiting for she and the groom in the getaway vehicle! ๐Ÿ™‚ Priceless!

Ceremony: The Chapel of the Incarnate Word, San Antonio TX

Reception: Pearl Stable

Carli & Vivi : 18 Months Old!

“Stacy. You are amazing. These photos make me want to cry they are so good! I am soooo happy with your work. You are our family’s photographer FOR LIFE! Go ahead and clear January 2nd for their birthday party!” – Kerry (Shucks, thanks Kerry! The pleasure was mine!)

Carli and Vivi are growing up FAST! And I’m just trying to keep up with my camera! ๐Ÿ™‚ It is such an honor that Laura and Kerry keep calling me to capture these precious little ones. I am inspired by their love of photography and their value of documenting their little girls’ lives, each tiny step at a time. K, L, C, and V – love you all!

The Itch!

Today marks the 7th Anniversary of the day that Stan and I were married . . . Happy Anniversary to US! ๐Ÿ™‚ When I look back through our wedding pictures, I can’t help but ask myself who those young kids in the pictures are! It’s just amazing how much you can change – inside and out – in just a few short years. But one thing that remains strong and true: I am SO blessed and SO thankful that I chose Stan Cross as my husband and that he took me as his bride 7 short years ago. I love the life that we’ve built together and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our little family. Stan – I love you and I celebrate the incredible husband and father that you are! Thank you for seven blissful years! ๐Ÿ™‚
