I keep starting and then stopping this blog post. I keep trying to put into words how much I adore Nicole, how perfect she and Rob are for each other, how much we loved shooting their wedding, and how much I love these pictures, but I just keep getting all messed up trying to convey all of it. Instead of writing (which I love, but takes me a VERY long time), I’m going to stick with my strength, which is telling a story in pictures. 🙂 Enjoy.
Nicole’s momma and I became good friends through the wedding-planning process. She is wonderful and you’ll see her a LOT in these pictures because . . . well, I love her and it’s my blog, so that’s what I want to do! 🙂 Haha!
How gorgeous are these girls? That’s Nicole’s twin sister on your left.
Dang, Rob! Seriously? You’re SO handsome!
Pic on the right taken just moments before Nicole realized she was about to walk down the isle without her flowers. Notice the empty left hand. 🙂 Whoops!
Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church is a beautiful spot for a ceremony and we were happy to be back!
Off to the reception at The Austin Club, which is one of our top favorite places to shoot!
Nicole is a dear friend of mine from college (at UT) and she, along with all these other adorable girls, was a Texas Angel. And here they are posing with a very special former Longhorn football player. 🙂 Awesome!
We went and took a bunch of fabulous pics at the capitol right after the reception. This is my salute to all of you “jumping picture” photographers. 🙂 I LOVE THIS SHOT because it’s just so ridiculous and silly!
Congrats, Nicole and Rob – love you guys!

We probably book about 85% of our weddings through word-of-mouth, referrals from previous clients, friends, and other photographers. What a blessing! It’s an especially huge honor when another photographer refers us, and a gargantuan honor when a photographer friend sends their own family to us! Our lovely photographer friend, Shannon Cunningham, referred her wonderfully fun brother-in-law, Damian, and his beautiful bride-to-be, Claire, to us and we couldn’t be more thankful! These two are a blast to work with and it means so much to have Shannon’s blessing to shoot their wedding!
My absolute favorite of the day and one of my favorite engagement pictures of all time . . .
Damian’s awesome sense of humor made for some FUN pictures . . . 🙂
I adore this one, too!
Ah, one last senior portrait hurrah! 🙂 Yay!
Me: So . . . you must be one of the last in your class to do your senior portraits?
Megan: Um, yeah, one of the last . . . well, yeah . . . um, I think I’m actually THE last!
She’s so darn cute! You guys know how much I LOVE love LOVE love LOOOOOVE to shoot senior portraits, right?! Well, I really, really do! And I’m reckoning that Megan’s will be my last for a few months here, but I think she helped me end the senior portrait season on a high note! Thanks, Megan!
