Oh my, I’ve been the laziest blogger lately! 🙂 Sorry, dudes! One of my resolutions (that I WILL keep!) will be to get back into the bloggin’ swing of things very soon. Anyway, just wanted to wish you all a very Happy and SAFE New Year! We’ll be shooting a fabulous wedding downtown tonight, so it should be fun! Buddy will be at home by the fire, sipping on egg nog and watching the “young kids” count down the dropping of the ball on television. 🙂

Love them. Love Katy (amaaaaazing photographer and Chris’s sister) for telling them to make me their wedding photographer. Love Kate (other amaaaazing photographer from McKinney) for rockin’ it out non-stop as my second shooter at this wedding. Love love (true wuv).
Huge thanks goes out to Becca and Kerrie from A Stylish Soiree who did an incredible job of coordinating and designing everything – the night was without a single flaw! Way to go, girls!
Tara is so lovely!
With the ladies
And the lil lady who, by the way, I almost had to adopt
Love it – this is SO them!
Chris’s dad is the sweetest man – and his toast was just the best. I loved hearing him talk about Chris as his “little buddy” and how close of friends they’ve been throughout Chris’s life. I hope Stanbo will be like that with our future son one day! 🙂
Adam is Chris’s cousin and one of his best men – and a really really great guy! I so enjoyed meeting him and getting to hear what a wonderful speech he gave and how he honored his lifelong friend. 🙂
AND I LOVE Tara’s face in this picture! This is going on the website FO SHO!
Chris doesn’t really like cake (more for those of us who LOOOOOOVE it!!), so Tara surprised him with his favorite ice cream instead – how cute!
Then they cut the cake for the rest of us!
Get down with your fine selves!!
Wishing you all a happy and healthy holiday with your families! We’re beginning Christmas this weekend with my family and then completing it next week with Stan’s family. 🙂 We feel so very blessed to be surrounded by such an awesome family that we can celebrate with. I hope you’ll find yourselves just as lucky this year!
I’ll be out of the office most of the time over the next week, but will be returning phone calls and email just a bit more slowly until Christmas eve. Then I’ll be outta here until December 30th. Just expect a tiny bit more time on my email and phone call turn-around time starting now. Thanks for understanding!
Charlene and Ernesto eat, breathe, bathe, and bask in coolness 24 hours a day, every day of the week. Besides being pick-my-jaw-up-off-the-floor amazing dancers, these two have a wonderful sense of humor and an overall style that is just as classy as it gets! Stan and I LOVED (yes, it had to be in all caps!) their wedding way down to our bones. It was so much fun – and a true, all-out par-TAY! Lemme show you a few faves just so that you can see what I’m talking about! 🙂
I adore these girls! They were so much fun the whole day!
And the guys were totally crazy-fun!
I love this shot that Stan got while folks were waiting around for the ceremony to begin.
Their reception was held at The Austin Club downtown, which, as you will see here, was gorgeous and had the best lighting! Yay!
They started the evening with a fantastic performance by the mariachi band.
This is my FAVORITE picture of all! I love that his ring is the thing in focus and that you can see Charlene’s beautiful face just a bit out of focus in the background. It was totally a blooper, but I love, love, love it!
Gut-busting hilarity during the toasts!
Charlene and Ernesto arranged to have a special performance for their guests – The Laya Dance Collective from the University of Texas. They were AWESOME!
Then it was time to put the dance party on a whole new level. 🙂 I just want to personally thank ALL of Charlene and Ernesto’s guests for officially “bringing it” on the dance floor – you people are the most free, fabulous, spirited bunch of dancers EVER!
Charlene and Ernesto definitely led the way!
The father-daughter and mother-son dances are my favorite!
Grandpa – your smile melts my heart.
Charlene chillin’ with the ‘rents. I love that I caught her dad looking like this! 🙂
And they lived happily ever after . . .
I wanted to mention a few more of their fabulous vendors, which all did a wonderful job!
Flowers – Prive Floral
Cake – Michelle’s Patisserie
Mariachi Band – Austin Mariachi
Wedding Coordinator – Gina with Clink Events
Thanks for making the day so wonderful for one of our favorite couples! C&E – thank you a million times over – I don’t think I’ll ever stop saying it! Hugs to you!
