Daniel and Andrea’s Wedding!

Over the many years that Andrea had known Daniel, it had never occurred to her to see him in that way. After all, he was her little brother‘s best friend and nothing more. They would occasionally cross paths and, while their friendship grew, they never became anything more than just that – friends.

As these teenagers blossomed into college students and then quickly into adults, they found themselves noticing one another. As all of the “we’re just friends”s melted away and gave way to more and more “what if”s, Daniel and Andrea cultivated a deeper friendship that soon turned into a beautiful romance.

On their wedding day, surrounded by hundreds of family and friends, Daniel and Andrea chose each other once and for all. It was a beautiful end to the first chapter of their unique story and a perfect beginning to the next chapter of their incredible life together. Dan and Andrea – we are so deeply happy for you! Thank you for sharing this very special time with us. We are so honored to now call you friends!

Frank is one of the sweetest daddies ever.

The ceremony and reception were held in Richmond, TX at the gorgeous Briscoe Manor. We loved shooting there for the first time!

We were ALL in tears.

Reelin’ her in!:)

Daniel and Melissa are Engaged!

These two are friends of ours from college (yes, we have a bunch of those!) and we are so honored that they’ve chosen us to photograph their wedding day coming up! I loved spending time with them at their engagement session and we got lots and lots of great pictures because these guys were wonderful in front of my camera. They have such an adorable, cuddly love for one another. It made me want to rush home and hug my Stan! Here are just a few favorites!

Stan Cross – 10 Years Ago!

This weekend Stan and I are going back to his hometown for his 10 year high school reunion. My wonderful Stan was the president of his class, so he’s the one who has actually organized the entire weekend and it’s been quite a huge undertaking, so I am so excited for him to finally get to see the fruit of his very time-consuming labor!

I giggled out loud when Stan dropped his senior portraits on my desk the other day. He had been rummaging through some old files and found them, just in time for me to make this post about his reunion!

Thanks, Stan – now I can fully embarass you on the blog as I had always intended!:)

I will be out of the office beginning at noon today and will not return until Monday morning. If you have an urgent matter, please give me a call. Otherwise, I’ll be returning emails and phone calls on Monday when I get back. Thanks!

sicky-poo. :(

Being sick is the lamest! I almost never, ever get sick, which is a huge gift, but it also means that I’m the biggest baby in the world when I am sick. I just walk around the house with water and soup, feeling sorry for myself all day. As ridiculous as it is, I actually said, out loud, to myself today, “Poor, poor Stacy.”

Yes, I am beyond pathetic, but I’m gonna milk it for all it’s worth – especially when Stanbo gets home.:)I think I’m gonna need him to make me some soup and give me a back massage. Well, really, can I really help it if that’s all that will make it better?:)

While I’m still working in the office, I’m doing so between naps and hot beverages. I will try and return emails and phone calls as quickly as possible, but may be a bit slower than normal.
