I love this shot of Adam checking out the sanctuary just before the wedding. :)

Though we were only allowed to shoot from the balcony, I loved the moody lighting of the church and the feel that it gave our pictures. Pretty cool!

As you probably know, we are at the beginning of the slowing-down of wedding season and I think I might actually get to catch my breath pretty soon! :) There’s so, so much stuff I haven’t blogged, but my priority has always been to get my pictures to my clients quickly and with beautiful processing, so that’s been what I’ve been up to! Here’s a few pictures from one of my favorite brides’ bridal session. Sarah is beautiful outside and in - and we had a blast getting together for these! She got married a few weeks ago, so I can finally post them - yay!

The day held a couple of firsts for us:

- First time a bride sang a solo during the procession of the wedding party. Linds - you nailed it! You’re insanely talented and it was a joy to hear your angel voice!
- First game of duck-duck-goose at a reception. Pretty dang awesome.

What an wonderfully memorable day! Jason and Lindsey: thank you SO much for having us there to capture all the fun and craziness! :) We adore the two of you!

The flower girls were being SO cute on the ride over to the ceremony! And their moms were pretty sweet, too! :)

Lindsey was simply radiant!

I loved that they took a moment to honor their parents during the ceremony.

I’m going to post a few more dancing pictures than I normally do because these people BROUGHT IT on the dance floor . . . pretty FUN stuff!

Happy Anniversary to US! :) When I look back through our wedding pictures, I can’t help but ask myself who those young kids in the pictures are! It’s just amazing how much you can change - inside and out - in just a few short years. But one thing that remains strong and true: I am SO blessed and SO thankful that I chose Stan Cross as my husband and that he took me as his bride 7 short years ago. I love the life that we’ve built together and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our little family. Stan - I love you and I celebrate the incredible husband and father that you are! Thank you for seven blissful years! :)

Quin has been crawling backwards and in a circle for about a month and now, at the ripe ole age of 9 months, Quin can crawl forwards. He is still a bit wobbly, but we LOVE it and are so proud of our little man! He learned to crawl just a couple days ago in Southlake at Stan’s parents’ house, so it was fun to share this milestone with the family! :)
